FAQ

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

All clients are responsible for supplying the stylist with KANEKALON braiding hair. If items needed are not listed on the booking site or in your confirmation email Please consult with your stylist so that we can tell you what to bring. When making your appointment please be advised we will ask for a photo closest to the style you are inquiring about. Then we will discuss customization and your stylist will be able to tell you if you need to bring anything additional.

NO SHOW

No show are taken very serious at MERMAIDS. If you are a no show for your appointment you will be subject to paying a fee (None refundable) 15 min after appointment time.

ARE KIDS ALLOWED?

All kids are allowed as long as they are being serviced. We have a strict NO UNSERVICED KIDS POLICY. If kids are not being serviced guardian may be subject to paying a fee depending on the child's behavior or asked to reschedule.

WHAT'S THE LATEST APPOINTMENT TIME I CAN HAVE FOR BOX BRAIDS OR LENGTHY SERVICES?

Lengthy appointments such as box braids rope twist and select dread services are not to be taken no later than 3pm unless permitted by your stylist . If running more than 15 minutes late you may be asked to reschedule for another day or pay a late fee.

WHAT IF I'M RUNNING LATE?

That's No Problem! If you are running late please be considerate of your stylist and call ahead and let us know. If we are not notified of your absence after 15 minutes your appointment time may forfeited to the next client and / or you may be subject to a late fee. 

CAN YOU GRIP MY HAIR?

As long as your hair is approximately +4 inches long it can be braided But please consult with your stylist before making your appointment . At Mermaids we do not discriminate on ethnicity. We service all textures.

IM UNHAPPY WITH MY SERVICE, WHAT DO I DO?

If you are unhappy with your service you have 1 DAYS to notify our salon so that we can try and resolve the problem. NO REFUNDS
